The hospital I work for, they hired someone who used to work in lab processing, without any college units.... does urines and all miscelanneous urines such as HIV and all that "*hit! Everyone should know... how can someone without a background release a preg test? or even umac? much more umic?

That is why all 50 states need a license for lab personell. We need a standard certification and degree entry level so every employee will be on a equal playing field.
