hi, i recommend that you apply online to different hospitals. much better if the hospital is connected with an academic institution because they are cap exempt. that's what i did and that's how i got my job. i am also from the Philippines.

I am a med. technology student here in Holland. After I graduate next year (june) I want to go to the US to work for a couple of years, preferably in NYC. I've looking for information and I see that I need a h1b visa?
I also read about the MT license, is there a way I can get the license while here in Holland? And what are the steps I need to take to find me a sponsor? last but not least, is experience a big factor? because if I just graduated I guess it wouldn't be very wise for me to start with the process.

Hi, I just recently graduated from the University of London, with my Masters in Medical Microbiology, i have done paristology, bacteriology and virology, I am looking for an opportunity to work in medicine, resrearch or as a medical lab technician in the USA. I was employed in Tampa at H lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in H1B status, this did not work favourably for me, as my experince was more geared toward Microbiology vs cancer research, and so I am now back in B1 Stautus and looking for a sponsor that will allow me to grow and work with them and capatalize on my experience in Medical Microbiology, I also have done my first degree at The University of Miami in Biochemistry 1998-2002, I returned to my country to work at the university of the west indies medical school to lecture and teach bichemistry labs, I have different exoperinces and recently published a paper in the American Journal of clinical Nutrition Jan 2008. As a masters graduate in Medical Microiology from the University of London I am looking for a job opportunity to use my skills that I have accquired and to work in the USA again with a new sponsor. Do you know anyone that is interested in hiring?
