I have 2 options. One is working 48 hours working Mon-Sat, the other is working 48hours Mon-Thurs(8am-8pm). Which one would you choose and why? |

If you have to I would do the Mon-Sat. Working a 12 hour shift is murder on your back and by hours 8-12 you are not performing at your peak. I personally would not want to be the patient in the chair! Nice as it would be to have 4 days in a row off you will burn out very quickly. 48 hours is a very long week (the employer may well be in for some significant overtime hours - check with employment standards for your Province) How about job sharing with someone who only wants a few hours (check with your local hygiene society for someone returning from a mat leave or a new grad seeking to fill up her week). |

By the way, I have 1.5 hours for recalls that is why I am considering those hours. |
