I live in Ohio and I would like to take the 90-Hour Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals Part 1. I wanted to take a course online/correspondence because there are none that are offered in my area. When I tried to register for a correspondence course through a respected provider the course went up more because they had to work through a college. He said that in Ohio the 90-Hour Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals Part 1 had to be take through a college in order for it to count towards National Certification. Does anyone know why this is?
