I am unsuccessfully trying to find an entry level job as an event coordinator. Although I have a solid knowledge of banquets with over 5 years experience as a Banquet Captain/ Server I am finding it hard to cross over. I have listed my college event planning experience as well but it proving to not be enough. Do you think it would hurt if i mentioned in High School? I coordinated events such as dances and graduation.

I ask this because I've been told high school is irrelevant. But do you think it would help?
