My family and I recently and legally migrated to the United States while I was 59 years old. I have MBA from NTSU (NTU)TX ,30 years of experiennce in commercial and general management of (mainly) Chemicals, shoes and Auto. manufacturing industries in Iran. I have been dealing with European,Japanees,Korean,Chinees and Turkish companies ,travelled for business negotiations and contracts to thoses countries several times. My objective under this circumstance would not be anything ,but having a suitable job, matching my background and age in order to afford cost of living for my Daughter who study chemical Eng. in CalPoly Pomona ,my wife and myself. My priorities are: Friendly atmospher, good work and suitable pay. What do you think about it. would my outside US experience be of utilization in any US companies who have international activities . Is there any company to hire me? |

Mostavi: I strongly believe that - in our current global economy and with an increasingly diverse US workforce - your experience is incredibly valuable. It sounds to me like you have a solid resume, and should be very competitive in the job market. Having said that, as we are all acutely aware, the labour market is extraordinarily tight (and contracting). You will want to make certain that you have an excellent resume and a cover letter. Of course - as a professional resume writer - my suggestion is that you identify a few positions in which you are interested and work with a resume writer to craft targeted resumes for each position. This will certainly increase your chances of getting your foot in the door. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have a few questions, I would be more than happy to help. Best of luck to you! K.C. |
