Application/Technical Support Analyst - Advice Required

Perhaps you can assist me. In the last ten years, I’ve been an active and essential member of Information Technology teams in the Financial and Software industries in the New Jersey/New York City area. My responsibilities have included providing systems and technical support for business partners and customers as well as managing software build and release processes. I've been out of work since October of 2008 due to the economic downturn and have been actively seeking a new position with dismal results.

If you can assist me or lend advice as to what direction I should take, it would be greatly appreciated. I have a stellar work history, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will consider all possibilities.
