Can anyone give me any information concerning the pay scale for carpenters in Iraq and Afghan.

I have a brother there now but he is not in the same field and does not have any current information since no carpenters are in his area.

Is the scale the same for Iraq and Afghanistan

I have heard that the company promotes from within for foreman. Do you have information on carpentry foreman as well? How Many men on a crew.(usually depends on job and posting). Living conditions etc.

Crew depends on the site, I was at C1 the first go around went as a carpenter and was promoted to foreman later on we had at one point 23 carpenters and 30 TCN helpers. But C1 one is a big site with lots of people to take care of. Also yes my recruiter said the carp. pay was the same in Iraq as Afgahn.

Our area Northeast U.S. is out of work but as I understand it Texas near San Antonio is still working.
